Description
Sharpe's siege : Newlywed Sharpe must leave his sick wife to capture and hold a French castle, while Wellington forces a passage trough Napoleon's flank. Sharpe's mission : While the French wait to see where Wellington will strike next, Sharpe travels behind enemy lines to blow up a French general's gunpowder supply. Sharpe's revenge : Framed by Napoleon's spy, Ducos, Sharpe is accused of stealing Napoleon's treasure, convicted and imprisoned. Broken out of jail by his faithful Sergeant Harper, Sharpe embarks on a search for truth and vegeance.
