Description
Before Melissa MacGregor is sent to London to look for a suitable husband, she meets Lincoln Ross Burnett, the seventeenth viscount Cambury, who is out wandering the countryside remembering the days he spent in Scotland as a child. Lincoln had long ago been forced to leave Scotland or risk being killed by the MacFearson clan. After their brief meeting Lincoln's heart is claimed forever. Though their destiny is carrying them along separate paths, Lincoln knows he will pursue Melissa to London, and to the ends of the earth if necessary. However, unbeknownst to either Lincoln or Melissa, it was Melissa's uncles who were the cause of Lincoln leaving Scotland and they are still a threat to his existence.
